For Sewing
- You will need a sewing machine. Visit Michael's fabric stores for a selection.
- You will need a sewing pattern. Visit Michael's fabric stores for a selection.
- You will need Fabric. You can purchase from Sewing Souls, Michael's Fabrics or your favorite store.

- Multipurpose sewing needles. Depending on what you are sewing there are different needles to sew different fabrics.
- Chalk or pencil for marking fabric. You can also use a small bar of soap if your fabric is a dark color
- Seam ripper
- Scissors. A good sharp pair can be expensive but is worth the investment.
- Measuring tape
- A good steam iron and board
- Cutting board if you don’t have a large surface table that will accommodate you laying out your fabric
- Graph paper and clear tape (I use this to adjust my patterns)
- Pins. I prefer the long pins that come with a magnet that holds them (Stepping on a needle is not fun)
